John started underground as a nipper and worked his way through the crew: driving trucks, charging and eventually operating a jumbo. He knows what it takes to earn your place on a crew, keep a heading moving and show up for the people working beside you. After putting in the shifts himself, he started Hardrock with an operator-led team that understands the work from the inside. We are here to back good people and help mines find operators who are right for the job.
